@aelaraji@aelaraji.com two years after! LOL. Also, I put down $50 (USD) that OP will never see these replies. The one you replied to used the gemini protocol, and I donât think it is up on its end. OP last twtxt was 2023-01-04T10:40:10+01:00: https://jdtron.tilde.team/twtxt.txt
@jdtron@tilde.team youâd be surprised!
I just did :)
yarnc
non-interactively? Tried something like:
Never mind, figured out that yarnc post -
is the way to do it. Thanks code!
Can I use yarnc to post directly to twtxt.net from the terminal? Letâs see. Aha! I can. :-)
@prologic@twtxt.net, how do I post from the terminal, using yarnc
non-interactively? Tried something like:
echo "This is a test." | yarnc post
And it didnât workâit seems it wants to open an editor.
@bender Haha đ
@prologic@twtxt.net and I believe he is an âOpen Web Leadâ at Automatic, and working on the ActivityPub plugin for WordPress. The theme he uses is his own. Anyway, moving onâŚ
@bender LOL đ I tried to even read the blog post, but I couldnât. In all bluntness and honestly the layout and style of the website is total garbage, not to mention itâs written in a language I cannot read, but because itâs just so poorly written the translation service canât translate it properly đ¤Śââď¸ So point across FAIL
Just found a pleasant way to wade through meetings: listening to Pucciniâs âLa Bohèmeâ. Glorious!
Pinellas County Running: 2.01 miles, 00:08:06 average pace, 00:16:18 duration
pain at the beginning so said fuck it and tested what would happen with a little speed. no pain. not even afterwards. i donât know.

@prologic@twtxt.net a thing, a thing! I mean, the amount of information the OP brought speaks for itself, right, right? đŤ˘đ
Pinellas County - Base: 3.19 miles, 00:10:30 average pace, 00:33:28 duration
had to stop due to left knee pain. run was light.

@bender What is?! đ
@prologic@twtxt.net âitâs a thing!â đ¤Ł

@movq@www.uninformativ.de it is all in the context. When referring to computers, if the person uses Microsoft Windows, then colloquially the user âis on Windowsâ, for example.
For PowerPoint is simpler, as nothing else is called that way, nor have the same spelling. But yeah, similar to âgonna grab a Cokeâ. It is intrinsically embedded in the language.
@bender lol đ
So you donât feel a bit weird when you say âWindowsâ or âPowerPointâ? Itâs just a brand, nothing special?
@prologic Speaking of broken mentions, do you want to install a more recent yarns version so that my error log is not spammed anymore with 404s? 8-)
@movq@www.uninformativ.de Zero progress on mine. :-( I still rely on the official twtxt client to download the (main) feed.
Thanks, @movq@www.uninformativ.de! Hahaha, didnât think of that. :-D Nah, this guy is not creepy, heâs just a melting flower snowman. ;-) Rest assured, he was unharmed on the table, you can see him here: https://lyse.isobeef.org/waldspaziergang-2024-04-21/23.JPG
Google:
I often wonder what it must be like for native English speakers to use all these so-called brand names. âI use window 11! This is a KraftPoint presentation. I got the code for this script from the idiot turnstile.â All that sort of thing.
đ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Ł
@movq@www.uninformativ.de I figure the same as for non-native. LOL. All translation services are doing a poor job at translating your twtxt.
@bender Fenster 11 â Windows 11; KraftPunkt (or Steckdose) â PowerPoint; Deppendrehkreuz (awesome translation btw, I had to laugh hard!) â GitHub.
