@prologic thanks mate! I am trying to isolate, wearing masks at home, and washing hands constantly, to see if kid can be spared.
@bender@twtxt.net Get well soon! 🤞
I am supposed to come to office today, but I have caught the same cold bug wife has had for the last three days, so I am staying remote to spare cube-mates. Nose stuck, dripping, and a general slight sense of malaise is what I am feeling right now.
@movq@www.uninformativ.de we had one of those at the beginning of the pandemic, when everyone was sent home. It truly was painful. Now we are having another university to evaluate our processes, and procedures; not much security based, but still a pain.
yarnc
non-interactively? Tried something like:
@prologic that would only be logical! :-)
@bender A: Yes

@bender Yup! It maybe should try to detect a pipe maybe too?
And yes @bender pods will reintroduce old root Twts like this back into active caches 🤣 Just not the ones in/between (old replies)
Funny how well shit works that we’ve collectively built 🤣
@jdtron@tilde.team As did I 🤣
@aelaraji@aelaraji.com two years after! LOL. Also, I put down $50 (USD) that OP will never see these replies. The one you replied to used the gemini protocol, and I don’t think it is up on its end. OP last twtxt was 2023-01-04T10:40:10+01:00: https://jdtron.tilde.team/twtxt.txt

Never mind, figured out that yarnc post -
is the way to do it. Thanks code!
Can I use yarnc to post directly to twtxt.net from the terminal? Let’s see. Aha! I can. :-)
@prologic, how do I post from the terminal, using yarnc
non-interactively? Tried something like:
echo "This is a test." | yarnc post
And it didn’t work—it seems it wants to open an editor.
@bender Haha 😝
@prologic and I believe he is an “Open Web Lead” at Automatic, and working on the ActivityPub plugin for WordPress. The theme he uses is his own. Anyway, moving on…
@bender LOL 😂 I tried to even read the blog post, but I couldn’t. In all bluntness and honestly the layout and style of the website is total garbage, not to mention it’s written in a language I cannot read, but because it’s just so poorly written the translation service can’t translate it properly 🤦♂️ So point across FAIL
Just found a pleasant way to wade through meetings: listening to Puccini’s “La Bohème”. Glorious!
@prologic a thing, a thing! I mean, the amount of information the OP brought speaks for itself, right, right? 🫢😅
@bender What is?! 😆
@prologic “it’s a thing!” 🤣
@lyse@lyse.isobeef.org Ahh yea! I’ll setup some CD for it this weekend 👌
@bender Hmmm? 🤔
@movq@www.uninformativ.de it is all in the context. When referring to computers, if the person uses Microsoft Windows, then colloquially the user “is on Windows”, for example.
For PowerPoint is simpler, as nothing else is called that way, nor have the same spelling. But yeah, similar to “gonna grab a Coke”. It is intrinsically embedded in the language.
Google:
I often wonder what it must be like for native English speakers to use all these so-called brand names. “I use window 11! This is a KraftPoint presentation. I got the code for this script from the idiot turnstile.” All that sort of thing.
🤣🤣🤣
