@xavavu “I knit a scarf once” — that’s a feat! To someone who has zero knitting skills (me!) that’s certainly something. I would be boasting about it with anyone I meet. “Hey, nice meeting you! Just so you know, I knit a scarf once!” I would say, whilst putting my nose up a little.

@fastidious@arrakis.netbros.com ha! It really was a feat to behold. I don’t even remember how long it took me to consider it finished, but it feels like it was a long time. And, yes, it does come up in conversation every now and then. I’ll remember to put my nose up a little next time it does!
