I guess the problem I really have, same with this whole Web3 Blockchain nonsense, is that we blur the lines between what is a centralised system, vs a decentralised system, vs a distributed system (sorry forked as we're getting off topic...)

@mckinley@twtxt.net this is my main issue with a lot of applications of cryptocurrency. This would work just as well with traditional payment methods. I feel a lot of these applications are in effect to just avoid taxes, launder money or wash dirty money. Happy to be proven wrong
