In-reply-to » I love flightsimming. Bought the latest xplane last night. resumed my flight around the world in a tiny plane.. VR, pedals, yoke and throttle setup.

@justamoment flightgear is great! I like the fact that it works on linux, same goes for xplane, that alone is the reason why I do not buy MS flightsim.

In-reply-to » @stigatle You are still trying to upgrade your Yarn Pod right? 🤔 Can I help in any way? 🤗

I’ll see if I have time tonight, I’ll take a backup of everything, then test a bit. I’ll let you know if I get stuck on anything. thank you for asking :)

Brought our dog to work today, so nice to have one that handles the cold without any issues. He just chills in his crate in the car while I work, and I take some small breaks to let him stretch his legs. Loves to play around in the snow. I could then take the ‘long’ walk on my way home instead of getting home first - then head out again.

In-reply-to » Tried to pull down the latest yarn, but I get this: unable to access 'https://git.mills.io/yarnsocial/yarn/': server certificate verification failed. CAfile: /etc/ssl/certs/ca-certificates.crt CRLfile: none

@prologic git worked after upgrade. But I seem to have to reinstall go. I have not done that yet. I will see if I have time to fix that later tonight.

In-reply-to » We went on a rainy afternoon hike. Contrary to common belief, this is actually pretty nice. It didn't rain too hard, so hiking boots, rain trousers and rain jacket with integrated hood is all that's needed. Just the pattering of the rain on the hood makes for a harder conversation, but it's relatively quiet everywhere else. Once overcome, I always enjoy these rainy days outside a lot. Well, if it doesn't pour down too crazy. In the end the rain even stopped and there was even a decent red sunset, that I missed to capture on film, though.

@lyse@lyse.isobeef.org very nice! we went from 12/13c down to negative today, so we had our first snow. There will be more snow tomorrow:)

In-reply-to » Tired of running owncloud, switched to syncthing, takes some time to set up all devices, but I'm glad to finally be pushed to set it up.

@darch@neotxt.dk yeah, all my computers and devices are on 24/7. but I’ll install it on my webserver (vps) as well, and let that one be the master device. my desktop is backed up to spideroak at all times, so when I sync there it backs things up. Im not too worried about the issue if something causes a conflict. There is only one file that worries me, and that is my keepass file. I might keep that elsewhere to be sure, I have not decided yet.

Every saturday evening we either bake pizza or make nachos, we then watch a movie together as a family, we have done this every saturday since our first child was born 10 years ago. We all look forward to Saturday evenings :)

@prologic Tried that - but that did not seem to change anything. But still - worth to do the update anyways, that way I do not have to worry about that for a good while. It’s a pain when it falls too far behind.

@prologic Most likely, ancient debian on that webserver - I’ll assume the problem is on my end and see if I can get it sorted.
