View from up the ladder, it’s quite a way down (5 metres to be exact). You can see the cable clearly.
@firstname.lastname@example.org Once you’re finished you’re having a solid base to start for a watch tower. :-)
@email@example.com may I ask what you are trying to accomplish?
@firstname.lastname@example.org I believe he is building a very large insect and wildlife proof netting to protect his fruit trees I think 🤔
Correct, the building is rabbit proof, pig proof, and soon will be bird proof. Than I can grow my 60+ fruit trees, run my chooks, do my veggie garden without wildlife interfering with it. I can also place shadecloth over it too and make it frost proof.
@off_grid_living You just need to make sure that the enormous sail is well anchored.
Maybe, I am off to town today to purchase a dozen wooden toms to prop the structure up, its sagging under the weight, the wire is stretching I think?
I see more a problem when the net is set up that it will pull the poles to the middle and then all if it just might crash?!?! The poles should be secured with 45° angled ropes to the outside.
