@hjertnes (re twtxt cli) It is meant to be a UNIX (be all design principles) command-line client to any twtxt.net pod, like this one. I would expect it to behave like a nice UNIX tool and have some nice features 😎 Technically it would just speak to the API … Still interested? 🤗

prologic

@hjertnes Speaking of which… Would you be interested in taking your tw codebase and perhaps @quite’s twet and contributing to this project’s CLI client? I put together the basic skeleton last night and it is able to auth, get a token and post. Wanna help? 😀

prologic

@hjertnes (re-garden) Hahaha so stereotypical 🤣 We 🏹 all the 🦘 , we 🔥 all the 🌲so there are very few 🐨 left 😢

prologic

@becrobinson86 I think you meant paint 🤣 (PS: You can “Edit” your last Twt!). Now… I think that if you had a 🔬 it would be very interesting indeed! And not 🥱 at all 🤣

Design Team: Can you please make our site more accessible? Me: Ask no more out

antonio

Last final UI tweaks which I am hoping it will be quick and then… TestFlight submission

prologic

@hjertnes as promised here is a picture of our yard with absolutely no grass! It’s atrocious 🤣 But OTOH we don’t have to mow it! 😂

prologic

@ionores (re Loki Approves!) Hahahahah 🤣 😂 I didn’t even know we could link to a GIF 😛 – What do you approve of?! 🙇‍♂️

@antonio (re automating App Store process) Oh? What’s involved? Can I help with that in anyway? (it is my forte after-all – automating 🤖things)

antonio

App store process to submit apps is hard work. I will have to spend sometime later to automate this for twtxt iOS app.

home_datacenter

In the previous Twt, I showed a photo of my own Server Room which houses a 22RU (Rack Units), industry standard 19” (inches) Rack Cabinet that is 600mm deep. This is about the smallest practical cabinet you can get for a small home office (SOHO), business or just your home (because you can!). Several years ago this cost me approximately ~$600-700 AUD and was purchased from 4Cabling. – Next: What’s inside the cabinet?

📣 ANN: twtxt v0.0.12 now officially released! 🎉 HIGHLIGHTS: Feed avatars, Hashtag searching, Formatting toolbar, macOS Brew Formulae, Command-line client and much much more! 🤗

@lukem @antonio (re Twtxt Net API) Oh nvm; ignore my previous Twt 😎 Very nice! This will help a lot with expanding the community! So will the API in general, the CLI client and I might write a client in Bash and Python too just for good measure 🤣

prologic

@off_grid_living (re water) Yeah that’s about right! 💧Its around ~150kL/yr of water for an average household around Australia/Brisbane and ~350kL if you’re a larger household with say a pool, etc. So I’d even postulate that you can do quite a lot with just 0.5ML/yr 😀

lukem

@antonio (re Twtxt Net API) that is TypeScript and the project in question is an API wrapper for a certain microblogging service. :) It compiles to plain ol’ JavaScript. I’m targeting web browsers, Node.js and React Native.

antonio

@lukem (re Twtxt Net API) 😍 tell us more about it. What it is? What language is built on? I don’t recognize the lang from your screenshot.

off_grid_living

So the first thing to resolve in off-grid-living, is your water problem. All homes in the country needs a infinite supply of water, by infinite I mean within reason, lets say 1 million litres per year is reasonable. You can do things with that amount of water. In fact water is life. No water no life, and no living.

Testing the bold and strikethrough, what does code do? Not working?

A brand new day. Maybe work on my chook pen today :)
